“This location is out of this world beautiful and exactly what I pictured when I imagined a rustic, Kansas barn! The owner was a pleasure to work with and returned all my calls promptly, met me at the exact times she said she would and answered all of my questions.The drive to the barn from Manhattan was approximately 30 minutes. I took Carnahan Road and that entire drive is absolutely stunning- rolling hills for miles, and just overall breathtaking Kansas scenery.
Upon pulling up I really was stunned- the huge red barn really stands out and is set on a large piece or property (plenty of room for parking, bonfires, outside events, etc.). It's newly renovated and just incredibly well kept. They did a great job renovating it down to the last detail. When you walk in you immediately notice the beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling (very rustic-chic), as well as a large windmill in the middle which I just loved. They've added lights to several areas which just help enhance that rustic-chic touch. There is a large hand crafted bar immediately to your right- perfect for having someone bartend. The side doors to the barn open up, should you want some fresh air (and if you have decent weather). Even the bathrooms are newly remodeled- separate his and hers bathrooms that are colorful, fun- the sinks were a great touch!
There is more than enough room for a band, and no neighbors nearby so noise won't be a problem.
This location is absolutely what you think of when you think of a Kansas wedding with a whole lot of extra charm!”
